Virtual Teach & Learn respects the privacy of its students and volunteers as we ensure that online safety is our number one priority.
During the Meets:
- The tutor nor the student is obligated to turn on their camera during sessions as we recognize not everyone feels comfortable doing so.

Why we ask for your IDs:
- Your ID is only required to guarantee whether your identity is false or not. Once we confirm your identity we can certify that we are not putting our students at risk.
- If your ID contains a piece of information that you are not comfortable with sharing, you may blur or black it out
- Your ID will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone, but the Virtual Teach & Learn Team.
Report Cards/Transcripts:
- Providing this information is necessary solely because we need to make sure our volunteers are qualified to do the job.
- Like all other personal information it will be kept confidential

- Grade Level
- What they want to focus on (subject, specific needs)
